Dear all,

Just visited the 梨園生輝 (Tong Tik Sang & Yam Kim Fai) at HK Heritage Museum, Shatin, quite a good experience n like to share a bit:

The exhibition space is well designed and I am touched by the ambience (you will hear the fans sing when they listen to the records in the self-served music booth, showing the two masters/ Cantonese opera as part of their life or precious memory), the videos (one is a group interview of Yam’s super fans, really touching) as well as the interactive part outside the exhibition hall:
Karaoke “room” (music from headphone, no speaker; and you can close the door as well to enjoy yourself):

Flipping books (turning a page by waving your hand -- detected by a motion sensor - it is exactly what we talked about during some brainstorming meeting!), as simple as the elderly know how to do without instruction:

A music/ audio device which you can point to the panel (which contain a particualr code/label) and then listen to the audio tracks (a device to be explored for Audio Artwalk???)

And also a voting station which shows real time resutls (cover the sensor to vote) :

A good place to go lar.
Exhbibition from now till 27 Sept 2010.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Chris
